 An oasis in the city. Shinjuku station. Shin-Okubo station. Shinjuku 3-chome station. Toei Oedo Line. Fukutoshin Line. A mysterious city where all the necessities of life come true. Higashi-Shinjuku Station is full of energy on the Toei Oedo Line. The personality of the station staff. Even though the Fukutoshin Line is busy, it has the power to overcome it. Cleaning / worker. The attitude is always the same at all times.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terribly long and deep station. Whether it's Oedo or Fukutoshin line, you'll have to go really deep inside the earth to reach the platforms. The station is quite empty (no restaurants, shops or whatever), and you usually have to walk for long minutes before reaching anything (the desired exit, the right platform, and so on). One of the worst stations in Tokyo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location is great (near Kabuki-cho and Korea-town) but platform and stairwells are far, FAR too narrow for the morning rush. Be prepared to wait in a long line during certain times of the day.
