東上線の中ではダントツの存在感を持つイメージだったが、
以外と質素な街。
The appearance is splendid.

駅構内にはファミマがあり、東口のエスカレーターは上り降り両方設置してありました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ こちらから池袋や渋谷、横浜まで一本で行けます。またＴＪライナーなどすべてが停車します。東口にはエスカレーターが西口は階段しかありません。改札外にファミリーマートがあるのみでホーム内には自販機しかありません。駐車場は、1日500円が相場で安いです。小さい駐車場が点在する感じです。近くて便利な所から満車になります。また、駐車場の出入りには一方通行の場所もありますので要注意です。

There is an escalator at the east exit and only stairs at the west exit. There is only FamilyMart outside the ticket gate, and there are only vending machines inside the platform. The parking lot is cheap at 500 yen a day. It feels like there are small parking lots scattered around. It will be full from a convenient place nearby. Also, please note that there is a one-way street for entering and exiting the parking lot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 駅前は名物東松山風やきとり飲み屋天国。それ以外のショッピングは車で郊外か、徒歩で駅チカのビバモールへな市。
駅エリアのアパートの家賃は隣の高坂駅より安く、探せば掘り出し物にあたるはず。単身者なら25,000とか、生活保護で２DK住めたり。
観光資源と言われると首をかしげるも、別に埼玉のほとんどに見るべきところはないし。駅前通りの商店街の再編成でもあればまた活気がよみがえる、かも？
地域では名門扱いな男女別高校があるので、別に悪い市だとは思っていない嵐山町民的感想（治安以外）
In front of the station is the famous Higashimatsuyama-style yakitori bar heaven. For other shopping, drive to the suburbs or walk to the station Chika's Viva Mall.
The rent of an apartment in the station area is cheaper than that of the neighboring Takasaka station, so if you look for it, you should find it a bargain. If you are a single person, you can live in 25,000, or you can live in 2DK for welfare.
When it comes to tourism resources, I'm afraid, but there's nothing else to see in most of Saitama. If the shopping street in front of the station is reorganized, it may be revived.
There are prestigious high schools for men and women in the area, so I don't think it's a bad city.

ダ埼玉の三軍かもしれませんが
駅の外観綺麗だし駅チカにアパホテルがあります。
それに東松山市出身の梶田隆章先生が2015年にノーベル物理学賞を受賞、その記念碑が駅前にあるんです。焼き鳥も有名なんです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 東武東上線の駅です。路線バスも多く、東松山駅からは鴻巣駅･免許センター行き、熊谷駅行き等が出ていて便利です。駅舎は、外観がややレトロな雰囲気で良いですね。
