★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 改札口を出て、直ぐ左手にある蕎麦屋さん、鴨そば、天ぷら蕎麦がとても美味しい。
鴨そばは、季節物。
安全教育センターレインボーのバス待ち?時間に、必ず立ち寄る蕎麦屋さん。
できれば、薬味のネギを沢山置いて欲しいです。
帰りは、日高屋で餃子にビール。
ホームから直接電車に乗れて?とても便利。
時間を気にせずに、ゆっくり飲めます。
 The soba restaurant, duck soba and tempura soba noodles on the left are just delicious.
Kamo soba is seasonal.
The Soba restaurant always stops by during the bus waiting time of the Safety Education Center Rainbow.
If possible, I want a lot of condiment onions.
On the way home, beer and dumplings at Hidakaya.
It is very convenient to get on the train directly from the platform.
You can drink slowly without worrying about time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 一部の快速と普通が接続を取ったり、非常時には折り返したりできる構造。ただし、大宮方面(上り)の接続だとホームが異なるため注意が必要。
ホームの配置から中山道に近い東側がメインだったとわかるが、橋上駅になってパトリアが駅と接続、さらにロータリーも整備されたため現在は西側がメインとなっている。
東側はタクシーやバスも待機しているが、スペースがかなり手狭なためバス用の転回台が用意されている。一部駅前の土地を確保して一般送迎用のスペースを作ったが、再開発までの「つなぎ」のもよう。
発車メロディー(どのホームも同じ)がかなり特徴的で、当駅のほかに２箇所ぐらいでしか聞いたことのないものを採用している。
A structure that can be connected to some rapid trains and normal trains, and can be turned back in an emergency. However, please note that the platform will be different if the connection is in the direction of Omiya (up).
From the layout of the platform, it can be seen that the east side near Nakasendo was the main station, but Patria is connected to the station at Hashigami station, and the rotary has been improved, so the west side is now the main station.
Taxi and bus are also waiting on the east side, but because the space is quite small, a turntable for buses is prepared. We secured some land in front of the station and made a space for general transportation, but it seems to be a "connector" until redevelopment.
The departure melody (same for all platforms) is quite distinctive, and we have adopted the ones that we have only heard in about two places besides this station.

日高屋が隣接されていますので、
食事するのは便利です。
ただ狭いです、駅と同じく狭いです。
駅前の道も狭いです。
大宮駅と比べてはいけません。

Hidakaya is adjacent, so

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 西口はきちんと整備されたロータリーがあり、おけがわマインという小さめのモールと直結していますが、東口は整備が進んでおらず非常に狭いロータリーと駅前通りです。そのために、東口のバス停にはバスの方向転換で使う専用の転車台があります。バスが回転する光景は珍しいです(笑)ただ、西口から羽田空港に行ける高速バスが出ていたり、特急あかぎ･スワローあかぎや快速電車が停車するので利便性は悪くないと思います。

西口は、マインがある。
