J	Jun Kudo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 駅の周りの食事処はどこも微妙です。じっくり座りたいとか、お酒を飲みたい場合でないかぎりは、駅そばにあるスーパーで弁当を買う方が無難ではなかろうかと思います。 The restaurants around the station are all delicate. Unless you want to sit down or have a drink, I think it's safer to buy a bento at the supermarket near the station.
サ	サーモン太郎 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 本数は1時間に1本程度。券売機は自動だが改札が自動改札ではなくICカードが使えない。駅施設は綺麗。待合所や観光案内所もある。駅の周りにはコンビニ飲食店家電量販店とか色々ある。駅前には大阪方面行きのバス乗り場もありました。 The number is about one per hour. The ticket vending machine is automatic, but the ticket gate is not an automatic ticket gate and IC cards cannot be used. Station facilities are beautiful. There are also shelters and tourist information centers. There are various convenience stores, restaurants and electronics stores around the station. There was also a bus stop for Osaka in front of the station.
W	W O on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 西舞鶴から京都丹後鉄道に乗り換えて天橋立に行く旅程で、ここで１時間半位乗り換え待ちしました。僅か１駅ですが凄いダイヤ組まれているなという印象です。タイトな計画ならタクシーで移動するのもありだと思います。今回はこの待ち時間を利用してレンガ倉庫まで歩いて往復して丁度良い時間潰しになりましたが、駅周辺は特にこれといってめぼしい施設はありませんでした。 It was an itinerary from Nishi-Maizuru to Amanohashidate, where I changed to the Kyoto Tango Railway and waited for about an hour and a half. 片	片栗粉純正 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ?舞鶴線＆小浜線の接続駅? 立派な駅舎。東舞鶴の市街地部分は高架になっているため、駅のホームも同様に一段と高いところに設置されている。島式のホームで１番線、２番線。小浜線も舞鶴線も同列に停車する。駅へは北口、南口の両方から出入り可能。北口から港に向かう広い道路が延びている。これは三条通。メインストリートだが、勢いは感じられない。むしろ南口にはラポールやドラッグストアがあり、人の流れがある。昔日は逆だった、三条、大門、八島の商店街に人がいっぱいだったと懐かしむ人もあるだろう。 ? A wide road extends from the north exit to the harbor. This is Sanjo Dori. It's the main street, but I can't feel the momentum. Rather, there are Lapole and drug stores at the south exit, and there is a flow of people. Some people may miss the fact that the shopping streets of Sanjo, Daimon, and Yashima were full of people, which was the opposite of the old days.
N	Norihiro Yamazawa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 小浜線と舞鶴線の接続駅。舞鶴線はICカードは使用できますが、小浜線はできません。大体1時間に1-2本くらいです。周りにはほとんど何もないですが、ケーズデンキと平和堂があります。駅中にセブンイレブンがあり、お土産も売っています。ローソンが近くにあります。高速バスも来ているようでバス停もあります。待合室は結構大きめです。ホテルは目の前に一軒ありました。その他のホテルは少し離れています。 A connecting station between the Obama Line and Maizuru Line. The Higashi-Maizuru Station is served by the Maizuru Line and the Obama Line. The Maizuru Line for Nishi-Maizuru, Ayabe, Fukuchiyama, and Kyoto and the Obama Line for Obama and Tsuruga. Both lines have adjacent stations: Nishi-Maizuru and Matsunoodera. The station has one elevated island platform serving two tracks and has a 'Midori no Madoguchi' staffed ticket counter. Two trains can share the same track. Trains for the Obama Line use the northern end of the tracks and trains for the Maizuru Line use the southwestern end of the tracks. The original station building was demolished in 1996 when the station was rebuilt as an elevated structure. The Maizuru Line (舞鶴線 Maizuru-sen) is a railway line in Kyoto Prefecture and it connects Ayabe and Higashi-Maizuru, the line beyond there being called the Obama Line connecting to Tsuruga. The Maizuru Line opened in the autumn of 1904 to transport troops and material to the naval base and Maizuru-Higashi Port during the Russo-Japanese War which commenced in February of that year. Although built by the Japanese Government, it was initially leased to the Bantsuru Railway Co. which opened the Ayabe-Fukuchiyama section of what is now the Sanin Main Line the same year. The company was nationalised in 1907, the year the Maizurukō Line (舞鶴港線) from Nishi-Maizuru to Maizuru Port opened. Passenger services operated on that branch between 1913 and 1924 and it closed in 1985. Nishi-Maizuru was also the junction for the Naka-Maizuru Line (中舞鶴線) to Naka-Maizuru which operated between 1919 and 1972. The line was electrified in 1999. The Tsuruga-Tomura section (Obama Line) was opened in 1917 and the line was then extended westward to Obama in 1918, Wakasa-Takahama in 1921 and connected to the Maizuru Line at Higashi-Maizuru the following year.
