宮津藩は藩主家が落ち着かない藩だった。地政学的にも、外様を置くわけにもいかず、この百姓一揆の時も松平家。江戸時代後期、商品経済の沸騰するなか、建前は米本位制の藩財政は火の車。苛斂誅求だっただろうと想像できる。
そんな悲しい歴史の証人でありながら、なんと優しいお顔であることか…。合掌。

蓑着せ地蔵さんに一度会ってみたいもんだが・・・
