★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 伊久知城址の石碑があり、右の側面に「石川五右ヱ門出生之地」と刻まれている。天下の大盗賊として知られる五右衛門は、時の権力者、豊臣秀吉に反抗したヒーローとして語り継がれ、歌舞伎「楼門五三桐」や浄瑠璃にも登場する。江戸後期の「丹後旧事記」によると、伊久知城主は丹後守護職の一色義俊で、家臣の石川左衛門尉秀門の二男に五良左衛門という人がいた。この五良左衛門が五右衛門その人とする。訪問される際は、周辺に駐車スペースがありませんのでお気をつけください。
There is a stone monument of the Ikuchi Castle ruins, which is engraved with "Ishikawa Goemon Gate birthplace" on the right side. Goemon, known as the great thief in the world, has been handed down as a hero who rebelled against the power of the time, Hideyoshi Toyotomi, and has appeared in Kabuki “Romon Gosankiri” and Joruri. According to the “Entrance of Tango” in the late Edo period, the Ikuchi Castle owner was Yoshitoshi Isshiki, a guardian of the Tango guardian, and there was a man named Gora Saemon as the second son of his vassal, Ishikawa Saemon Kabuhide. This Gora Saemon shall be Goemon. When visiting, please be aware that there are no parking spaces around.
