★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed for 2 nights in a room with private bath tub and foot tub! Unfortunately, snow has gone and could not get snowlike view from window.... Anyway, enjoyed their great hospitality !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel Hayamakan is located uphill in Kaminoyama. The rooms in the upper floors feature a nice view over the area and the city, especially from the private onsen the belongs to every individual room. I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere very much as well as the delicious food they offer to breakfast. The hotel also has a small shop attached for times the restaurants are closed and to grab some souvenirs from the region.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Facilities are on the older side but well maintained. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. Onsen water is very soft and made my skin smooth. Not many foreigners which was nice. The food was good as they focused on local products and the season.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oh my, the room, food and ambience was great! It is kinda old but well maintained. Room was huge with 2 twin beds, it’s own hot bath and foot hot bath with breathtaking view. This is good for couples, families, friends, colleagues and others.
