S	Seeming Chan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the highlights of my visit to Japan I came on a weekday night, save for me there was one other diner. After a warm greeting both by Chef Noma Yukio and the waitress for the night, I sat down at table . The setting is warm and homely. It really feels like a local, neighborhood joint through and through. But that meant that the menu was all in Japanese, thankfully, I showed a picture from a previous review and that was more than enough. When the chef and waitress realized I couldn't speak Japanese they used Google translate to speak to me. And through Google Translate they asked me about my day, my stay in Japan and what I was up to. They were genuinely interested in talking to me and we had a lively conversation. The waitress even knew I was talking about a Hatsune Miku concert when I mentioned I was going for a concert nearby! The chef was just as engaging asking me about where I was from, what my favorite sushi was etc. The food was great, fresh and well prepared. I loved it through and through. The other diner recommended cucumber sushi, saying it was his favorite. I gave it a try and there was a clear difference between the ones I had outside of Japan. The ones I had here, as Chef Noma told me, had Shiso leaves in them. It gives it a minty fresh flavor that is unique. It was a new experience for me and I was delighted. I also had Salmon sushi here and it was fresh with a nice portion. Easily some of the best sushi I had. Overall, with the great food and incredible Japanese hospitality, I rate this place 5/5, I would definitely come again
