★ ★ ★ ★ ★ たまたま渋沢栄一の箱根に関わる特別展をやっている事を知り訪れました。渋沢栄一の箱根エリアへの貢献の凄さもさることながら常設展が充実していて勉強になりました。江戸時代から今に至る箱根の歴史を知る事が出来ました。箱根には何度も来てますが知らないことが多くて新発見がたくさんありました。
小さな資料館ですが見応えがあります。関所と併せて見るのも良いかと思います。是非訪れてみてください。
I happened to know that I was doing a special exhibition related to Eiichi Shibusawa's Hakone. Not only was Eiichi Shibusawa's contribution to the Hakone area great, but the permanent exhibition was substantial and I learned a lot. I was able to learn about the history of Hakone from the Edo period to the present. I've been to Hakone many times, but I didn't know much and there were many new discoveries.
It's a small museum, but it's worth seeing. I think it would be good to see it together with the Sekisho. Please come visit us.

The history from Hakone Nanayu to Hakone Jushichiyu is exhibited in the museum filled with the charm and depth of Hakone.
For Hakone lovers, there are many interesting materials on display, which is a must-see.
It is adjacent to Hakone Town Hall.
Opening hours 9: 00 ~ 16: 30 (admission is until 16:00)
Please note that the opening time is short.

ホームページを探ると割引画面が出て、画面を見せると料金が300円から250円になりました。
前提として、地理や歴史等に興味のある人向けの資料館だと思ってください。
私は50代ですが、10代20代の若い頃に来たら、きっとつまらない資料館だったでしょう。
館内撮影禁止の為、画像はあげられませんが、内容を説明します。
箱根の温泉の歴史を、主に人文地理的視点で時系列に展示してあります。
個人的に衝撃的だったのが、ロシアの民芸品のマトリョーシカの始祖が箱根だったことですね。
