 It is a magnificent stone monument of the Ryohotai. The name of the soldier was also engraved.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 幕末の郡上青山藩内で、幕府側につくか新政府側につくか意見が分かれ新政府側につくことを藩として決定したが、江戸屋敷内の45人が脱藩して幕府側の応援として会津に向かったのが「凌霜隊」でした。
会津若松城（鶴ヶ城）では白虎隊と共に戦ったが、降伏後は罪人として扱われて郡上に残った者はほとんどいなかったそうです。
その「凌霜隊」を慰霊する碑で、隊員全員の名前が記されています。

It was the "Shinto frost party" that went to Aizu.
In Aizuwakamatsu Castle (Tsuruga Castle), they fought with the White Tiger Corps, but after surrender, there were few who were treated as sinners and remained on the county.
It is the monument to commemorate the "Shinro frost party" and the names of all the members are written.
