 There is a magnificent stone monument at the entrance of the temple, and there is a guide board for the Iwatsuka castle ruins on the wall behind it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 尾張守護職斯波氏の一族の吉田治郎左衛門重氏により築城されました。
現在は遍慶寺になっており、遺構は残っていません。
The castle was built by Mr. Jirozaemon Shige, a clan of Mr. Shiba, a guardian of Owari.
It is now Henkyoji Temple, and no remains remain.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ?岩塚城趾石碑が遍慶寺山門脇にありました❗足利の頃、斯波氏一族吉田治郎左衛門重氏がこの地に住んでいました。子孫長く栄えましたが、元氏に至り織田信長に仕え、永禄11年伊勢にて戦死しました。その子九郎左衛門は、織田信男に仕え、天正19年旧領岩塚を拝領し、七所社西北の地に住んだと云います。岩塚城は元氏の死後廃城になりました。
? Iwatsuka Castle Toe Stone Monument was on the side of the mountain gate of Henkei-ji Temple ❗ At the time of Ashikaga, the Shiba clan Jiro Saemon Shige lived in this area. Although his descendants prospered for a long time, he became a former man and served Nobunaga Oda, and died in Ise in Eiroku 11 years. It is said that his child, Kurozaemon, served Nobuo Oda, worshiped the former territory of Iwatsuka in Tensho 19 and lived in the northwestern part of Shichishosha. Iwatsuka Castle was abandoned after the death of Mr. Moto.
