★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 国道８号線と旧中仙道の分岐口に建てられた近江商人像。さほどでかくないため、いつ出来たのかよく分からないが、気づいたら建っていた感じ。
 Omi merchant statue built at the branch of National Route 8 and the former Nakasendo. It ’s not so big, so I do n’t know when it ’s done, but it ’s built.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 近江商人を間近に触れてみたくてんびんの里へ。写真の石像がお出迎え。こちら五個荘は当時の街並みを残してくださっており非常に雰囲気がある。
Go to Tenbin no Sato to get a closer look at Omi merchants. The stone statue in the photo welcomes you. This Gokaso retains the cityscape of the time and has a very atmosphere.
