★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Diffferent style of okonomiyaki than in other prefectures. its a must try. If you dont like the traditional okonomiyaki, dont quickly put this off the plan, coz you might love this one. downside place is small but guest can smoke outside.

Absolutely delicious food! Great service, deserves a Michelin star. Keep an eye on this place, well worth it if you are in hiroshima. Food moderately priced but you get good sized portions. I recomend the pork and soba, and get some seared oysters on the side.
Shoutout to Uno! Mad lad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Typical Okonomiyaki restaurant in town. The restaurant itself is quiet small but the service is very quick as they never stop cooking the next Okonomiyaki. Also selling draft beer (Asahi) which mingle well with the food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Henkutsuya is one of the highly recommended spots for Hiroshima okonimiyaki. It's an old, hole-in-the-wall type of place in a shopping district.
What's great about it is that it's an authentic local experience with a mix of Japanese and foreign tourist customers. Some good Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki and a Japanese beer isn't a bad way to end a day here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lots of veggies!! Rich in taste, and everything sticks, unlike other okonomiyaki I've tried in Hiroshima, it was easy to eat with chopsticks. Foreigners friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently rediscovered this place. Super convenient location and I prefer the, dare I say it, more authentic, vibe than places in nearby Okonomiyaki-mura. Toppings are limited but I get what I like by ordering a side of kimchi and adding it to my cheese topping. Delicious!
