関	関清志 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2022年3月28日に参拝しました。延暦15年796年に巌鬼山(がんきさん)西方寺観音院として岩木山山頂の本宮に対して里宮が置かれたのが始まりと伺いました。その後、坂上田村麻呂が蝦夷平定を祈念し、大同2年807年に再建しました。寛治5年1091年に百沢に岩木山神社として遷座しました。つまり、岩木山神社の元宮ということになります。社名にあるように、ここ十腰内(とこしない)の地には、鬼伝説が残っています。昔、村長の娘に恋をした鬼が、求婚をしたそうです。村長は、一晩の内に十振りの刀を鍛造できたら娘を嫁にやると答えたとか…。鬼は、死物狂いに十本の刀を造りましたが、村長が、そのうちの1振りをかすめて隠してしまいます。そうとは知らない鬼は、刀を数えます。「十」人の武者の「腰」に佩く刀が「無い」と言って諦めたそうです。境内にそそり立つ二本の大杉は、樹齢千年を越すと伝えられ、青森県内屈指の巨樹として有名です。 I visited on March 28, 2022.
