★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The room,onsen & snowboarding was above average.There is only 2 line up of dishes for breakfast & dinner buffet alternating every other day so we were quite bored by the 5th night.Staffs were helpful but had difficulty communicating in English fortunately Ms Yan Xi Tan was there to help.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The snow was fantastic and the slopes un-crowded, however sadly this is where the positives in my review for Aomori Spring end. I live and work in Hokkaido so I have no shortage of untracked powder on my doorstep already.
My friends and I especially chose this resort for a freestyle snowboard training week, lured here under the illusion that Aomori is a specialist park resort (as their website suggests!) Whatever Aomori was in the past, this is certainly not the case now.
There was no half-pipe at all, and no jumps or jib features for the first three days we were there. After the organiser of our group met with management. some jumps were sculpted for the last two days of our stay. These were good and we appreciated the effort, but we would have loved to have made use of them for the entire week (given that freestyle was the sole purpose of our trip). Aomori's website promises 30+ jump and jib features - but in reality the resort only possesses TWO rails! No boxes, no ride-on features, nothing at all for a beginner progression.
I could not fault staff or facilities at the resort, but the false advertising is extremely disappointing. We would not have chosen Aomori Spring for our training week if we had known what it was really going to be like.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to ski and snowboard. Kind of small but it’s very affordable and close to the city. Got my board waxed here and they did an awesome job and even removed the surface rust on my edges for free. It has rails, boxes, and ramps for those wanting to do some tricks. Great variety for a small resort.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great mountain to come have fun on some great slopes. The snow was perfect when we went! The lift passes include all lifts and gondola. The gondola was a real treat as far as convenience and ease for my 7 year old...the resort also had a hotel/spa, rental area, and place to get delicious food. If you are a Tohoku resident be sure to have proof so you can get the discount lift pass. There is also a bunny slope for sledding.
