★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「二上神社」は鼓山(つづみやま)の麓、岩常集落入口から県道を横断し、社前の(鼓縄手)を一直線に約500㍍進んだ位置に鎮座です。
古来より岩常の二上山には神祭数社が鎮座しており延喜式の神社として「二上神社」は(鼓大明神)と称されて崇敬されています。鼓の神は2人兄弟であることから二神(二上)「二神神社」とも記載があります。
南北朝時代、因幡・伯耆守護大名で二上城を築城した山名時氏はこの時、二上山の神祭の数社を鼓山に移し現在に至ります。
境内は杉林が覆います。鳥居前から本殿拝殿までの参道は同じ高さでこの間の石段が数段あるのみです。
鳥居から拝殿までは至近距離で鳥居正面から左側の方向にすぐに拝殿本殿が見えています。
鳥居から眺めて拝殿本殿の正面が程よく右上がりに向けられており端正な美意識が伝わります。
「二上神社」はがっしりとした造りの中にも端正さと潔さが感じられます。帰路鳥居を出て、来た路(鼓縄手)を引き返し岩常集落の背後に広がる二上山を見上げると感慨無量になりました。
 "Nikami Shrine" is located at the foot of Tsuzumiyama, crossing the prefectural road from the Iwajo village entrance, and heading straight in front of the shrine (Kumuronote) for about 500 meters.
Since ancient times, several shrines have been enshrined on Mt. Nikami in Iwako, and "Ninokami Shrine" is revered as the Enki-style shrine (Drumdai Myojin). Since the deity of the drum is two brothers, it is also described as Nikami (Nikami) "Nigami Shrine".
Mr. Toki Yamana, who built Nikami Castle in Inaba / Hoki Shudai Daimyo during the Nambokucho era, moved several shrines of Nikamiyama to Guzan at this time.
The grounds are covered with cedar forest. The approach from the Torii gate to the main shrine is the same height, with only a few stone steps between them.
From the torii gate to the worship hall, you can see the main hall of the worship hall in the immediate left direction from the front of the torii gate.
As you can see from the torii, the front of the main hall of the worship hall is turned to the right and conveys a neat sense of beauty.
You can feel the neatness and cleanliness of the "Nikami Shrine" even though it has a solid structure. After leaving the return torii gate, I turned back the way I came to (Kumawate) and looked up at Mt. Nikami, which spreads behind the Iwajo village, and I was deeply moved.
