★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely traditional shop in a nice old street. The custard creme (vanilla) one was amazing, chocolate also very tasty - not so much a fan of the red bean one, but it wasn't bad either. The owner also speaks sufficient English. Possibility for seating opposite of the shop. In case you don't know: Taiyaki are those fish formed cookies with filling.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some of the best taiyaki I have had in Japan. I liked the quality as it was light and flaky making it easy to eat. Some taiyaki make the fish shell hard to eat but not here. The staff are great and can speak English and Japanese if you need the help. The frog beer was delicious and went well with my taiyaki. It made for a good end of the day snack.
