30分ほどの徒歩時間で、市街地からすぐ近くなので割とお手軽に登山が楽しめます。
標高もそれほどないのでハイキングにおすすめ

Recommended for hiking as the altitude is not so high

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 肥田氏の城跡で、隣接する金山城の鬼武蔵こと森長可とは元々仲が悪かったのか？米田城の支城 馬串山砦を譲れと恫喝され、断ると奇襲され落城してしまいました、城の西側は断崖ですが、金山城側の南は広く緩い斜面で防御施設が少なく、守るには難しい地形です、山頂付近には土塁 曲輪 堀切？っぽいのが少しあります。

かつては「米田城」があったとされていて、川辺の町並みと飛騨川の流れが眺められます。
