み	みけねこ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 国道461号線で，栃木県＝下野国と茨城県＝常陸国（さらに遡れば陸奥国）を結ぶなだらかな峠です。茨城県側は二車線（センターラインがある）ですが，栃木県側はこの道路を重要視してないという認識の差でしょうか。境「明神」峠とは，栃木県側すぐ，道路北側の小さな木の鳥居から少し斜面を上ったところに祠が鎮座していらっしゃることからでありましょうか。 It is a gentle pass that connects Tochigi Prefecture = Shimonokuni and Ibaraki Prefecture = Hitachikoku (further back to Mutsukuni) on Route 461. The Ibaraki side has two lanes (there is a center line), but the Tochigi side does not recognize this road as important. Sakai "Myoujin" Pass is because the shrine is sitting on the side of Tochigi Prefecture, just up the slope from a small tree torii on the north side of the road.
