こ	こばを on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 住宅街の一角の公園の一隅にあります。隣接に広い駐車スペースがあるので車で訪ねて大丈夫です。ここは石舞台古墳のように古墳時代の石室が露出しています。土日や祝日(の一部？)のみ、石室の中に入れます。ただし、午後４時前には施錠されるので余裕を持ってお訪ねください。石室奥は人感センサーがあり、照明が点灯するので良く見ることができます。案外天井も高いです。ここにはどのような人がどのように埋葬されていたのか、稲荷山古墳の被葬の様子を思い浮かべながら想いを馳せます。石室は野面積みだろうと勝手に想像していたのですが、内側から見るときれいに成型された石が積まれています。さきたま古墳公園から離れているので訪れる人もめっきり少ないですが、ここは素晴らしいです。 It is located in a corner of a park in a residential area.
