ふ	ふみふみた on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 3万年ほど前に形成された、赤城山の中央火口丘(溶岩ドーム)。小沼駐車場に車を停めて八丁峠から登れば運動靴でも30分ほどで山頂に着く。大洞駐車場からの道は少しきつい登り。白樺牧場があった新坂平、見晴山からのルートもある。山頂には一等三角点があり、大沼(おの)と赤城神社を見下ろす景色が楽しめる。地蔵岳と言ったら前橋高崎伊勢崎からでも見える鉄塔群。 NHK中継所、群馬県防災無線、国土交通省のレーダー雨量観測所、TBS、など。鉄塔群をモチーフにしたTシャツが鳥居峠の山頂駅舎カフェ(サントリービアバーベキューホール)で売っている。 The central crater hill (lava dome) of Mt. 田	田中信宏 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 山頂にお地蔵さんがたくさんいます。山頂からの展望は素晴らしいはずですが、私が登ったときは雲が多く、向かいの黒檜山も隠れてしまいました。登山コースは何本かありますが、小沼側の八丁峠登山口からをお勧めします。時間が短くて済み、安全で、傾斜も緩やかで、長七郎山や小沼が見渡せて、お花も色々見られるので、子供でも大丈夫です。山頂は石がゴロゴロしているので、登山靴のように底が厚くて硬い靴の方が歩きやすいです。下山時に大沼側へ進むと石が多くて歩きにくく、濡れているときはなお滑りやすいです。 There are many Jizo statues on the mountaintop.
