L	Leo Monaco on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel (English name is Forest Hongo) is conveniently located near the University of Tokyo (Hongo campus), but this is about 30 min subway/metro ride to popular night life locations. The staff are super friendly and even offered an umbrella ) a to borrow when it rained. The breakfast was actually very good with both western style. And Japanese style (try the hot spring eggs!). The size of the rooms was pretty good given what I have heard previously so I was nicely surprised. Bathroom also had lot of toiletries (shaver, hairdryer, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoos, etc.), but bathroom was tiny. There is no gym, no pool, no bar, or other amenities that are in western hotels, but for a place that is convenient for university it's great.
W	Willy C on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and quiet hotel with slightly bigger rooms then normal. Ideal if you need to be at University of Tokyo. Slightly away from convenient transport options. If you are more then 1.90m tall then not a good choice available

This place offers a luxuriously spacious room of very decent quality with a price just a tad bit above average I believe. Service from staff was also excellent. Had no problem answering my enquiry (about laundry). And as I wanted to just store my luggage in advance of my check-in time so that I could do my sightseeing freely. They even help to put the luggage in my room before I have officially checked in (room not yet paid and form not yet filled at that moment).

Note: This is primarily a hotel for Japanese people, but they were very accommodating to non-Japanese. It is not located in a touristy area, but is very well situated for exploring the city of Tokyo. Overall it is a very nice hotel, and I would recommend it to my friends for their visits to Tokyo.

The toiletries are provided and i Love the green tea scent. The bed is ok. The counter beside the TV is good size working area. The location is near convenience stores and bus stop.
