★ ★ ★ ★ ★ there quite a few restaurants along the way to the shrine from the parking lot however we were so happy to go the distance to the far back to find this gem of a restaurant. Weather was on our side so we sat outside and enjoyed the view and the good food. Very reasonable prices and a tranquil place to enjoy the good food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Authentic japanese food with a breathtaking view. Very nice service, always makes one feel extremely welcoming. Japanese culture at it's best. Hate the outhouse rest rooms. Other than that, this place is good for lunch after the thousand steps of stair climb to get to it. Try the squid in the picture.
