The view is phenomenal! Lots of stairs though. So be prepared to climb/hike. In the cave, there are many stone statues of deities(kami) and the legendary dragon of Enoshima. On the way, there a several shrines ⛩ to pray for wealth, beauty, love etc. Be sure to keep a look out for all of them.

Interesting place and how it was all formed. If you think all the steps coming down the caves are hard wait until you try and go back up!! We sat on the rocks at the bottom of the stairs coming down to the caves to watch the sunset, quite a few people doing the same so wasn’t totally peaceful but nice to sit by the sea and see the sun go down. My Fuji was mostly hidden by some clouds but I imagine on a clear day it would look pretty spectacular with the sunset. You could probably get a similar view from the top of the island as well if you didn’t fancy all the stairs to get down.

Beautiful small cave... only 500 yen; if you take the speedboat there ensure you catch it back before 5pm, if not you will definitely take a scenic route back.

Cool cave with a nice story. Cheap to get in. Not super impressed but it was nice. The sea view outside and the rocky area is beautiful tho. The taya caves in kamakura are so much better!

I great sightseeing experience going to visit the two Iwaya caves. A lot of steps getting there but with the ocean views and scenery, definitely make it worth it! There are many statues and a few shrines but the caves themselves are very impressive. The first cave is lit but your also provided a candle to use and the second cave is lit beautifully. Once again, I recommend purchasing the ¥1000 ticket when you arrive at the shrine a the entrance, it’s pays for itself.

Small cave but nice to see. If you’re looking for a more rugged cave experience this definitely isn’t it, but it’s still fun to walk through and easy for small children/elderly.

It's a small cave but still worth to pay a visit. I enjoy the walkway with candles on the sides. There's a booth where you can rent a candle but i dont think it's needed. It's not really too dark inside. In the 2nd cave, you'll see a dragon with sound effects. I wasnt impressed by that but the folktale about it is cool so that can be interesting for some people. I advise you visit the cave and be the judge. But overall, it was okay.

Really cool cave that was created from wave erosion on the backside of Enoshima Island. Lots of stone historical objects that are part of the cultural heritage of the Island. In the back of the cave there is a large dragon statue known as the "Heavenly Maiden" that has cool RBG lighting. It costs ¥500 for adults to enter and it's worth your time if you get the chance to visit.
