Having eaten a large bowl of Japanese pasta in Nokata we thought of losing some energy and walked through residential area towards Toritsukasei. At first, we thought the shop was closed because of the curtain and poor lighting inside. You need to peer through the glass shop door to see whether it's open or not. Although, there's a open sign at the door, you feel somewhat uninvited. But we decided to go in and was NOT disappointed. The pattisser looked like a typical Japanese shokunin(craftsperson) who are thought to be generally very quiet. But in fact he was cheerful and took time to explain how he makes those cakes and tarts. The standard of average Japanese pattisseries are so high that it is becoming so hard for us not to eat desserts after dinner almost everyday.

The pastries tasted really fresh and delicious; mont blanc would definitely be a fan favorite for people with sweet tooth. My favorites were cream puff and chocolate cake.
