また円筒分水特有の、サイフォンから水が湧き出る「内側」の筒が見えませんね。
でも水量多く、現用感は満点！

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 蔵王町の分水施設です。昭和6年頃に稼働を開始して、今も現役の分水工です。
かつてこの辺りは頻繁に干ばつに見舞われ、水争いが絶えなかったとの事。その対策して建造されたのが、この分水工との事です。現在は遠刈田発電所で使った水を7対3の割合で、澄川用水路と黒沢尻用水路に分水しています。
『いぼいわ分水工』という、何だかゴツゴツした名称ですが、綺麗な水がざぶざぶ流れていく光景は見ていて何故か飽きません(^^)
県内初の分水工と言われており、推奨土木遺産にも指定されている凄い施設です。
It is a water diversion facility in Zao Town. It started operation around 1945 and is still an active diversion work.
In the past, this area was frequently hit by droughts, and water conflicts continued. It is this diversion work that was built as a countermeasure. Currently, the water used at the Togatta power plant is divided into the Sumikawa irrigation canal and the Kurosawajiri irrigation canal at a ratio of 7: 3.
The name is "Iboiwa diversion work", which is somewhat rugged, but I never get tired of seeing the rugged flow of clean water (^^).
It is said to be the first diversion work in the prefecture, and it is a great facility that has been designated as a recommended civil engineering heritage.
