★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 馬頭観音をまつる。３間四方の観音堂。谷山ハイキングコースのほぼ中間地点（コース入口より約２ｋｍ）にある。堂内には多数の絵馬が奉納されている。
※現在、東日本大震災の影響により、谷山ハイキングコースは全コース通行出来ません。
 Festival of horse head Kannon. Kannon-do on all sides of 3 ken. It is located at the middle point of the Taniyama hiking course (about 2km from the course entrance). Many votive tablets are dedicated in the hall.
* Currently, due to the effects of the Great East Japan Earthquake, the Taniyama hiking course cannot be used on all courses.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 国有林の山道を歩いていくと、山中に現れる大きな建物。
だが建物は歪み、屋根はブルーシート。
昔は地元や、遠くは福島などの遠方からも馬を連れて参拝していた人々がいたとのこと。往時の賑わいが想像できます。
歴史のある建物でとてももったいないが、時代が変わるのは致し方ないことなので、このまま朽ちていくのもしょうがないことなのかな、とも思います。
車道があるわけでもないし、材料は今の時代、ヘリコプターで荷揚げしないとなりません。
昔はきっと、境内に植えた杉を伐採し、木挽職人が大鋸を手に山を登り、現地で製材して柱を作って、この建物を作ったのでしょう。そうしたことを想像するだけでも、昔の人たちの偉大さに感動します。
修復、または再建するにしてもお金はかかりますし、地元や周辺の住民の方々の寄付や、行政の支援でもなければ難しいかと思います。
When walking along the mountain road of national forest, it is a big building which appears in the mountains.
However, the building is distorted and the roof is blue seat.
There were people who had visited horses locally and far away from Fukushima and other distant places. I can imagine the bustle of the times.
Although it is a waste in a historical building, it is inevitable that the times change, so I think that it is inevitable that we will decay like this.
There is no roadway, and the material must be unloaded with a helicopter in this era.
In the past, it surely cut down the cedar planted in the precincts, the trees craftsman climbed the mountain with handsome saw, sawed in the locality and made a pillar to make this building. Even just imagining such things, I am moved by the greatness of old people.
Even if it restores or rebuilds it costs money and I think that it is difficult if it is not donation of the local people and the residents of the neighborhood or support of the administration.
