Best Izakaya restaurant in japan

A	A K on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible oysters very close by the Hiroshima Memorial Park. Their lunch package is also very filling and worth every yen, the deep-fried oyster package came with miso soup (with clams), salad, and chicken teriyaki. It costed around 1000 yen. We ordered the pan-fried oyster with butter separately, it has a thin crispy exterior but maintained a juicy interior. Service was very friendly and there is an English menu available.
E	Eve Ho on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the grilled, steamed, and fried oysters. All were very good but the fried were by far my favorite. They use a Katsu batter and the oysters are very fresh. The Hiroshima lemon sour is also very good.
R	Ryan Scully on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worth a stop for seafood lovers before or after visiting nearby peace memorial and atomic dome. The city is known for seasonal oysters and the ones served here were outstanding. I tried both fried and grilled oysters. Both preparations of oyster were perfectly cooked. The oysters were large, juicy, fresh, and full of flavor. My favorite were the grilled. Sashimi and other izakaya standards are also available. English menu provided upon request.

Hardly recall any other item on the menu which exhibited "try me" vibes. Probably a tourist go-to since it is so near the A-bomb sightseeing. Not fantastic but if you are carving for oyster, it might still make sense to have a look.

Only a quick 10 minute wait on a Saturday evening. The restaurant had fewer seats than usual to allow for social distancing. Try the Hiroshima lemon sour!

Regardless, the food was very enjoyable and we had a very lovely meal. They also had a good selection of Hiroshima 日本酒, which the 店長 was very happy to walk us through.
