Ask the waiter for their "OSUSUME" (recommendation). 中おち was better than any sashimi restaurant. For only ¥1700, I went home feeling full, happy, and slightly tipsy. :)

They had 3 options on their menu when I went: hokke, grilled mackerel, and fried aji. And they all come with a side of miso soup, rice, and some pickles. Their portions are very generous and cost only 980 yen. The food tastes good, and it’s like a home cooked meal! I love it! Oishikatta, gochisousamadeshita! They have tables seating with chairs, but they also have a back room with traditional Japanese setting- low tables and cushions to sit on instead of chairs. You’ll need to take your shoes off to get in this room jfyi.
