★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Place to go after drinking and BBQ! The hot vegetable based broth with either noodles or rice (porridge) really warm up the belly especially during cold nights. You will see many locals (aka salary men) going there for their “wake me up” fix of noodles after their drinking sessions. Not a gourmet place but definitely comfort food. The porridge #43 is really good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The karaage/ramen set meal came with so much food and it was all delicious!! Service is quick and ordering is easy. Definitely recommend getting some sort of karaage while you’re here, especially the one with the egg on top. I left feeling satisfied and stuffed!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For those looking for non fish ramen this is the place. They have a pork broth for the basic and a vegetable one for the vegetarian ramen. Very nice staff and atmosphere. Great place for visitors to start ramen tasting.

Food arrived quickly without much delay.
Ramen was on point and definitely in food coma after. Fried chicken with rice were good but spicy sauce was not spicy at all.
Above cost us 1080 Yen
Jazz was playing in the background which was relaxing.
Would recommend coming here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly the best ramen I’ve ever had, and the actual restaurant has such a nice and chill atmosphere. The staff are very friendly greeting every single person as they come or go, and it’s super cheap considering how delicious the food is. Super easy to order if you can’t speak or read Japanese as you purchase food tickets outside the restaurant with both Japanese and English menus, and you just exchange the tickets inside. Definitely worth seeking out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Back to basics. It's a simple meal and we're attracted by the display menu outside. Needed help with the order ticket vending machine and the staff spotted us outside and came to help. We're so appreciative. We ordered noodles, gyoza and deep fried chicken. All yummy. A nice meal to wrap up our walking exploration of Kabuchiko (red light district).
