I like jeans but was new to Japanese denim and it was great to have the young gentleman show me the different weights and textures they have. So much veritey!!! I ended up buying 2 pairs and a hat because I couldn't decide what to get. Why not, I'm from Seattle and likely wont be back for a few years. I'm definitely coming back when I return. They know service! If you're trying to figure out where to get denim, close google, and put this on your map because there is nowhere else you need to look.

The store is small, but they stock the shelves to the brim with a wide variety of high-end Okayama and Kojima-based Japanese denim brands and styles. I am not a denim connoisseur, but be aware, those more accustomed to pre-worn or stretchy off-the-rack styles may find raw denim uncomfortable or unforgiving. The craftsmanship and fabric of Japanese brands, however, is top notch and definitely worth a try for the adventurous and discerning. They also have a decent selection of shirts and jackets. If you are in town for a few days, they will also tailor your pair to fit. The wonderful shop attendants are the real experts and super willing to help you find the right pair. They will make every attempt to accommodate English-speaking customers, so we felt in no way intimidated. The store is also a bit far from the touristy parts of Yokohama and they went the extra mile (pun intended) to make sure I caught the right bus back to the city center. Excellent experience and worth the trip.

I had been shopping for over an hour with one of the shop staff, who was excellent with suggestions and spoke a high level of English. It just so happened that one of the co-owners came in and we began to speak. He was a wealth of information and suggested a few brands which I should check out, in addition to the prior brands suggested by his staff. I ended up settling on a fantastic pair of Tanuki jeans and he was very generous with extending a Black Friday discount well past the date. Between the excellent selection, staff and overall experience, I would highly recommend the shop. All the best in the future to the co-owner and staff- I look forward to supporting the business again when I buy another pair of jeans.

Super close to Haneda airport, which is nice. Thanks so much for the help finding my jacket, guys. It was my first time to order something from Japan and I couldn't ask my boyfriend for help because it was a surprise for his 30th birthday. But the whole process was super easy and stress free, their costumer service helped me with sizing and the whole ordering process – as a first time buyer, I even got 10% off. Delivery took 2 days from Japan to Germany. That's simply crazy. If you are into Japanese denim, this shop has the biggest collection of Japanese denim brands (that is what my boyfriend says who owns roughly 20 pairs, lol) and I can't believe how smoothly all of this went. I was really nervous about all of this and it all worked out brilliantly. Most importantly, my man loves the jacket and it fits him perfectly. Will definitely shop again, highly recommended!

I usually only write reviews when something goes wrong but decided to write a review here because I'm taken aback by how far their customer service will go. I had trouble paying and the website was very below, but their costumer service sorted me out and were simply outstanding! I've been eyeing this jacket since I saw on Instagram a couple of months ago. I decided to do some research and got this after consulting with Denimio about the sizing (I was really worried about that). Size is spot on, like tailor made for me! 10 out of 10, will order again
