★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very strong first impression justifying four stars, notwithstanding the outstanding place that's close by. Larger than expected with fast friendly service from India. Also better lighting and a good Wi-Fi connection.
I found the lunch menu slightly confusing, but went with the three-curry set. All three were good, but especially the vegetable curry. The naan was fluffy and delicious, but slightly uneven. If you want to have a talk with a friend over lunch, this place seems better. I admit I was actually looking for reasons why the other nearby place seems to have a stronger reputation, but I couldn't find any.
In conclusion I have to raise my rating to a strong 4 stars. Both places are strong candidates for five stars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for dinner. Good selection of South Indian food. Quality is good, food is scrumptious, and the service is friendly. Gets full marks for dinner. Haven't tried the lunch options, so cannot comment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Food was good but the owner/server was rude. I had requested reservation for 2 people on gurunavi website. The reservation was in “pending” status. I called the restaurant on day of visit and they said they had no booking request on my name, they however said they have table available so come over. Once I reached the restaurant, the Owner/Sever told me I had canceled the Reservation. I told him No I did not but he kept arguing showing the Cancelation on his phone screen. This was so rude of him. Actually he had forgotten to “Accept” my booking on gurunavi and thats why the booking got auto-canceled. But he put the blame on me !! Thats so unprofessional. That killed the mood.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ honestly, it's pretty poor food. curry is soupy and bland, vegetables aren't very fresh, they dont give you free refills on nan if you've originally chosen the rice instead. all the while chasing a 900 yen charge on a less than satisfying amount. Wonder how this restaurant has managed to stay afloat this entire time....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The true South Indian restaurant to experience which is very close to Tokyo station. I always chose unlimited basumati set for lunch . Also the evening meals also good mostly with South Indian cuisine. Also worth the try. Evening are mostly crowded especially Friday night

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing food. Ordered the course meal. Something like 15 courses. At first I wanted more of each course, but by the end I was beyond stuffed. Everything in the course ranged from great to amazing. Also very conveniently located near Tokyo Station. Can’t wait to go again.
