★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2021年8月23日に訪れました。説明板には、樹齢800年と記されてありますので、西暦1200年前後に根付いたことになります。九戸政実の伝説では、政実が植えたという言い伝えが有ります。政実は、天文5年1536年に、ここ長興寺で生まれています。伝説を信じるとなると樹齢500年ということになります。長興寺は、永正元年1504年創建ですので、大名館の近くの大銀杏の場所に菩提寺を建てたのが、一番道理にかなっているような気がします。
I visited on August 23, 2021. The explanation board says that the tree is 800 years old, so it has taken root around 1200 AD. According to the legend of Kunohe Masazane, there is a legend that Masazane planted it. Masami was born here in Chokoji Temple in 1536, the 5th year of Tenbun. If you believe in the legend, it will be 500 years old. Chokoji was built in 1504 in the first year of the Eisho era, so I think it makes the most sense to build Bodaiji at the location of the Daiginko near the Daimyokan.
