K	KAZU on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 博物館が併設されており周りは御所野縄文公園になっています。縄文式土器から春から冬までの生活様式を迫力のある映像や音で体験出来るのでオススメです。入口からトンネルのような通路になっており川の上を横断出来ます。下を覗くと降り積もった雪の上を動物が歩いた足跡があったり自然を感じられる場所です。博物館も充実していて見応えがありますがアピールが少ないせいか東北や岩手県でも観光地として知名度は低いです。世界遺産の一覧に記載されたようですが登録はどうなんでしょう？岩手県民でも知らない方々が多いので認知されていないような…御所野縄文博物館や公園も素晴らしいのですが観光地として土産屋や飲食店は近くには無いに等しい状況なので活気が感じられないのが残念です。近くには馬仙峡や北上川源泉の弓弭の泉など存在するので一緒にアピールしながら観光地として認知される事が良いような気もしますが…平日に行くと活気が無く素晴らしい場所なのに残念です… A museum is attached and the surrounding area is Goshonojomon Park.
