外から見た外観も大きいですが実際に中に入り歩いてみるともっと広く感じました。
時期にもよると思いますがバナナやカカオ、マンゴーなど身近だけれど実っている様子は普段見れないものなども見られて楽しかったです。

The appearance from the outside is big, but when I actually walked inside, I felt it was wider.
I think it depends on the time of year, but it was fun to see things that are familiar but not usually seen, such as bananas, cacao, and mangoes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In my opinion, this is the best part of the whole Kyoto Botanical Garden. It costs a little more to visit this place (make sure you pay for the base ticket + the surcharge when you buy your entrance ticket), but I think it is worth it.
A large variety of plants on display, from many different climates around the world. Walk from the desert to the sub-arctic region, to the Amazonian rainforests...it's a cool experience.
The only thing is that I would have liked to have more explanations of the different climates and the plants though. Oftentimes the plants just have a name plaque, and no other information is given about the plant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are tons of tropical and desert plants. Although I am from tropical country, I'm intrigued with all variety of trees here. The trail is well designed, no waste of space yet you wont feel it is too pack because bushes and trees are well placed so you feel like walking in the forest, not seeing other trails.
The thing I love here is not only the focus on ground plants, there are many aquatic plants to see as well. Well worth 200円 in my opinion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A plenty of exotic plants sorted by categories and exhibited in different rooms. A nice trip around the world and even under water. What a big collection available in a single place! This 1h visit made me happy :)
