★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 鳥取市用瀬町用瀬地内の千代川の右岸を通る国道５３号から西向にある朱塗りの「流しびなの館」の前の護岸道路を北に400mほど行った、同町美成地内の余井集落手前の道沿いにあります。案内板によると、元の位置はさらにこれより北に150mほど行った道沿いの水田で、1978(S53)年7月、圃場整備工事中に発見されたが、工事が急がれたため、急遽発掘調査を実施し、この位置に移設復元されたものとのこと。古墳時代の後期約1300年前のもので、直径10mの円墳で、横穴式石室は玄室長4.8m、幅1.5m、高さ1m、玄室以外は縮小されているそうです。近傍に見られる花崗岩を使い表面を平滑に加工した整美な石室で、中に入って間近で見られます。出土した副葬品は、町内の「用瀬郷土歴史館」に展示されており、ふるさとの歴史の一端にふれることが出来ます。(大村地区まちづくり協議会）
In front of Yoi Village in Minasechi, Minasechi, I went about 400m north on the seawall road in front of the vermilion-painted Nagareshinanokan from National Road No. 53 on the right bank of Chiyogawa in Yose-cho, Tottori-shi. According to the information board, the original location was a paddy field along the road, which was about 150 m further north, and was discovered during the field maintenance work in July 1978 (S53). An excavation survey was carried out, and it was relocated and restored to this location. It is about 1300 years old in the late Kofun period. It is a 10m-diameter circular tumulus, and the side hole type stone room is 4.8m in length, 1.5m in width, 1m in height. It is a beautiful stone room with a smooth surface using granite found nearby. The excavated burial items are on display at the "Yose Local History Museum" in the town, where you can touch one of the history of your hometown. (Omura district town development meeting)
