S	Shizuka Mori on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The castle doesn't look quite authentic. More like a modern construction. Anyways, it just doesn't feel like it was hundreds of years old. Nevertheless it had a nice view from the observatory. And most of all, you can enter for FREE!!

If Monday is a holiday observance in Japan, the castle opens its door for public and be closed on the following day. There are no entrance fee for the place. Absolutely free of charge. Although it is more of a museum type, where the History of Chiba Prefecture is presented, than a castle. My only suggestion is that maybe they will have some translation on some of the captions on their exhibits because non-locals or non-Japanese speakers or readers will find their hardest time in understanding the caption of a certain exhibit. It is very much accessible to the public because there is a train station nearby which is the Hon-Chiba Station.

I	I Alif Siregar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A short walk from my capsule hotel. The entrance fee is free. The Museum is shaped like the old Chiba Castle. But is infact a modern reconstruction. It showcases the development of Chiba from the feudal ages up to modern development. I recomend to go up all the way to the top floor so you can have a 360° view of Chiba city. When I was there in 2016 we had a freak snow fall. So I had the pleasure of seeing the Castle in an autumn setting and covered in snow. A beautiful castle in both settings.

The interior looks like a very generic, unflattering museum... Nothing about it looks like a genuine Japanese castle inside. But good displays and genuine battle armor on display as well
S	Samimuzzaman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of attractions in Chiba. It’s a historic castle. many local and foreigner tourists come visit the castle every day. you can observe the nice Chiba city and Chiba city port view from the top of the castle. I think visiting the spot is worth spending time.
A	Alexiques on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This castle in Chiba is nice. Although I’ve seen much better throughout Japan, I’d recommend a visit. I didn’t go inside, but the exterior was moderately beautiful, calming and picturesque.

Each floor displays City of Chiba history from ancient to modern time focusing on the medieval family, the Chiba Clan. The highest floor serves as observatory. Must visit this place. Just creacting an amazing feeling that can't exprres in words. The efforts by the authorities is appreciable
