★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cute cozy college-y cafe. Nice for sitting and reading a book. We got the deluxe locomoco donburri and the cheeseburger plate. Both were pretty darn good. I'd definitely recommend this place for weary travelers in the kinkakuji area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to study, read, or hang out. It's one of the coziest and most inviting cafes I've ever been too. I will be going back multiple times while in Kyoto. Oh and the pancakes are very very tasty!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stumbled upon this place randomly while walking between sites, and i was so glad we went up the stairs! Fantastic and comfy cafe atmosphere which is a unusual compared to other japanese cafes i've been to, which i found a little too clinical. I would definitely recommend the pancakes, they were really great! I was so impressed with this place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing atmosphere, friendly staff and great food. Ordered a burger + chocolate, caramel and nut pancakes. Burger was tasty and came with a few sides and the pancakes were amazing - probably the best pancakes I've ever had. Not overly sweet and delicious. Good tea as well.
