F	Family N on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cafe de pan is a nice cafe which has the water view from big window. Complementary local traditional rice cake is also good with coffee. This cafe is run by Chitose which is a nice hot spring hotel where we can enjoy nice local foods, like fish, oyster, meat as well as local wine.

Although specifically asked if there wassesame seeds and let me ordered, they said no, the order arrived with Sesame seeds. As such, they replaced the item with toasted bread, and it was absolutely delicious! The food was fantastic for that excellent view. We definitely want to come back again!

M	Maya Skeele on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The atmosphere of the cafe is really nice, and the location is absolutely fantastic with a water front view. The food was fine. I was concerned with the sanitation. When I arrived the popular tables by the water were all full. However they were not cleaned/ wiped down at all after the people left. I stayed at my table, and new people came in and sat at the tables which were not clean. Normally I find this extremely un sanitary, and during covid this is extremely dangerous.
K	Keith Alverson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice picture window on the canal. We Enjoyed vegetable curry and sardine sandwich for lunch watching the bridge traffic. The section closed off is for people checking into the nearby Chitose wine hotel around 3pm (which we also did!). I would give the fifth star for any spoken or written English assistance.
B	Brian Rooney on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The atmosphere is that of a spacious French piano café. The view of the small Amanohashidate harbor, bridge and island makes it ideal for a leisurely coffee break. Sandwiches were a bit small, but very thick and served on wholesome, house made bread. They were quite tasty, and run about 900¥ each. Desserts looked very tasty, although we didn't have one.
