Best gyudon I've ever had. The meat is really good and waiters very friendly. Reasonable price. I definetly recomend for people who want to try a great gyudon.

If I were told that someone in the kitchen is manually grinding the mountain pepper (sancho) and then cherry-picking each dust-sized resulting element with a 1000 years old magnifying glass, it would actually come as no surprise. Everything in the gyudon (beef slices on top of a bowl of rice) is balanced to perfection. The sweetness of the sauce, the cooking of the meat, the quantity, and the amount of pepper, that gives a rare senses satisfying spiciness without pushing into the category of hot dishes. While the average price of a fast-food gyudon is 500 yen, here, you'll have to let 1500 yen go away. And you won't regret any of them. Especially considering that a basic ramen bowl coming with usual toppings would cost a comparable price. The restaurant is quiet, offering a side and really close view on the Tokyo station from the 5th floor of the KITTE building, and decorated with wood. The atmosphere feels quality as much as the food itself. If you want a totally different take on gyudon, don't miss this restaurant.

We stumbled upon this gem of a place as we tried to hit up the conveyor belt sushi place on the same floor. However, the line was about 20 people deep for sushi, so we wandered to see if anything else would entice us. What we found was a shabu restaurant that also had beef bowl sets for a reasonable price. Boyfriend and I decided to get the wagyu beef bowl with salad for 1576 yen. It was the perfect amount. It came with a miso soup and pickles as part of the lunch special. The beef bowls were filling and great portion. The wagyu beef was really tender and beautifully marinated/cooked in sauce. The onions were not completely caramelized, but it remained crisp and sweet. We completely finished our bowls. The restaurant is extremely cozy and we had the entire back corner to ourselves. It was really nice that the menus were available in English, even though the servers had limited speaking ability. As long as you pointed to your option, it was simple to order without things getting lost in translation. A spot worth returning to and visiting if you are in the area.

High quality beef that melts in your mouth. Bit too much onion for me, would rather have more beef. But for around ¥1,300, it’s a good value meal for high quality meat.

Good quick lunch spot. The menu is beef bowls and sukiyaki (English version available). Gyudon has good amount of beef, cooked well.

As far as I know, cheap beef is usually used for the Japanese beef rice but this restaurant uses quality and even Wagyu beef for their beef rice. Unfortunately the seasoning is too strong and the beef is cut too small. So I think it is a waste.

The sukiyaki is an absolute must try. The beef was unbelievably good, and the course is well worth the money. You can also get shabu shabu, and I intend to come back and try it. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Check this place out if you’re in the mood for some delicious meat.
