★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Exceptional food and experience. The ambience, presentation, food and service all created an experience not to be forgotten. The grilled smoked tomatoes had an amazing flavor and the pork katsu was perfect. Light and crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. You can taste quality in every bite. If I am ever back in Tokyo I would not miss the chance to go back. Wish I had one where I live!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want amazing tonkatsu with a WIDE variety of pork cuts and regions then this is the place!
Its so carefully fried and when it arrives the level of crispyness is unheard of! The belly cut was nice and fatty, full or flavour but nothing too overwhelming, it's perfect! Also tries the deluxe serloin (shoulder blade) cut which had a section of the pork strip which was lean and then a portion more fatty, perfect combo! And you can truly taste the difference in both selections.
The miso clam soup was good and so was the ponzu sauce you put on the cabbage which is unlimited refills alongside the gohan rice :)
We arrived at 11:15 on a Tuesday and were about 4th in line, place can seat about 15 tables give or take.
Don't worry about English, they understood everything and were able to explain as well alongside an English menu.
Service exceptional as always in Japan and the price very fair.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best Tonkatsu I've ever had! I even had seconds. They had 30 over pork and cuts to choose from. The expensive one was so tasty and the meat was so tender. After that I decide to go for their lunch set which was very delicious as well though I can feel the meat was not as tasty as the first.
It was not pricey and definitely worth the price. There was a short queue just when I went and that was before they open for the day but I don't think there is much of a queue once they start. The restaurant is quite spacious compared to other Japanese eateries.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing tonkatsu! They have an English menu. Staff was very friendly and spoke English well. Best tonkatsu I’ve ever had and you get to choose the cut of pork. Comes with a couple sides that compliment the pork well. A great meal for a reasonable price. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was great, food was even greater. Tempted to try pork belly instead of the usual tenderloin or loin, but luckily I gave it a shot!
Conclusion: you know this place has mastered tonkatsu when they make it right with pork belly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pork was really good, and the tonkatsu breading was the best I've ever had. Despite both of those things, the tomatoes at the start of the meal served as part of a starter and light palate warmup surprised me as the most impressive part of the meal.
Despite having an incredibly limited vocabulary in Japanese, we were able to ask lots of questions and received great answers. The waiter was very patient and helpful and created a wonderful experience for us to accompany the meal.
The choice of background music was not bad, but felt a bit out of place and didn't feel well matched to the rest of the ambiance of the venue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This might be my favorite tonkatsu in Tokyo. The place itself is cool, having a very rustic and old-timey feel. The pork is unbelievably tender and juicy, and you can have your pick as to what kind of meat you want and from where. The prices are reasonable, and the staff friendly. I 100% recommend this place and will go back soon.
