If you are into arts and crafts, this is your place. Lovely pen selection and sketch books.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing stationery store. Not so big on pens and pencils, but a ton of art stuff, as well as lots of really nice letters and postcards. There's a gallery on the third or fourth floor as well, but I ran out of time to check it out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's in a convenient location near the station and has a really wide range of materials. On the ground floor there are some adult colouring books, stationary, etc, towards the back of that floor there are also different kinds of paints and a really good selection of paper. Downstairs they have a manga section that has copics, brush pens, manga paper, screen tones, etc. I didn't go upstairs, but I think it could be a gallery.
I thought it was a reasonable price for what I bought, too. I'll definitely go back next time I need something.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m an expat artist living in Japan and I’d never been to this wonderful art supply store in the Kanda — old bookstore part of Tokyo. The first floor easily has as many options in the watercolor section as nearly any other store I’ve been in. Prices were similar to Sekaido. A great find.
