★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was shown to the two last seats in the far corner of the busy restaurant. Chap came over with a pen and paper, no English menu, no local one provided either. Waiter shrugged his shoulders as if to say “what are you waiting for, leave already” which we did. Worst dinner experience in Japan. Fully understand that non Japanese speakers shouldn’t expect everything in English, but their attitude was terrible, made us feel embarrassed having to squeeze by everyone once again to exit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent traditional yakitori pub. Justly famous for their delicious green apple sours. Not too easy to order food without reading and speaking Japanese, however. We met some friendly Japanese guys who helped us order. The server had a serious attitude but it was more funny than a real problem. Kitchen closes before the stated closing time.

What can I say..My best, most favorite, ultimate Japanese traditional style bar. I've been coming here since I was 20 or so. Hidden diamond in Tokyo. They don't have any English menus, so better bring some local. If you ever go there by reading my review and love it, let me know!
They serve various kinds of griled chicken, pork and veggie sticks, raw chicken breast meat sashimi, raw horse sashimi, homemade pork organ miso soup..For drinks you should try "lemon sour", Japanese old-school lemon cocktail, they have great sake too. So much memory here. Definitely one of the first places I'd visit when I go back to Tokyo. Love you Bang bang!

Down into the basement (see some photos here to get where the entrance is) to this amazing place where everyone is sat around the bar where the chefs are cooking the yakitori. Note that there is no English menu and so I’d only recommend going here if you can order yakitori etc. in Japanese (google yakitori types to learn the names for various kinds - definitely worth it). Its just so down to earth and with a great buzz inside, coupled with great food that it’s worth learning some basic yakitori and restaurant Japanese! You won’t regret it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I enjoyed all the food here! They are yummy ? Highly recommended to try! However, they don’t have any English menu and all are in Japanese. Managed to order food by just saying Omakase to the staff and showing some pictures in Google map. The place is small and cozy, practically all the customers are Japanese. Nice vibe to have your night food and drinks!
