★ ★ ★ ★ ★ こちらは正式名称「皇大神宮」です。上杉謙信公が糸魚川に建立され、以来上杉家と共に遷座され、米沢城巽の守護神として現在地に鎮座する、藩主、家臣の崇敬厚いお宮です。
This is the official name "Emperor Shrine". Kenshin Uesugi was erected in Itoigawa. Since then, it has been relocated with the Uesugi family, and has been revered as the patron god of the Yonezawa castle ruins.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 米沢市本町に鎮座する東町皇大神宮です。御祭神は天照皇大神。関ヶ原の戦いの後、上杉家が会津から米沢に移封となった際、米沢に遷されたと伝えられます。有り難く、”皇大神宮”の御朱印を頂きました。
Azumamachi Kotai Shrine is located in Honcho, Yonezawa. The deity is Amaterasu Omikami. It is said that when the Uesugi family was transferred from Aizu to Yonezawa after the Battle of Sekigahara, they were transferred to Yonezawa. Thank you, I received the red stamp of "Kotai Jingu".
