しかし、橋の西側の眺めは素晴らしく四季折々の広瀬川の景色を楽しめます。たまに橋の上からカワセミ、キジが見られます。また、川が干上がると川底から貝の化石が表れるのは余り知られていない話。
台風、豪雨が来ても取り敢えず渡れますが橋の途中は暴風、大雨を遮るものが無く悪天候時に橋を渡る時にはそれなりの準備と注意が必要です。
A large 6-lane bridge that connects Sendai City with Taihaku Ward and the city. Cars speed up, sidewalks are narrow for traffic, and bicycles and pedestrians are crowded in the morning.
However, the view to the west of the bridge is wonderful and you can enjoy the seasonal views of the Hirose River. Occasionally kingfishers and pheasants can be seen on the bridge. It is not widely known that fossil shells appear from the bottom of the river when the river dries.
Even if a typhoon or torrential rain comes, you can cross the bridge for the time being.
