鳥居を潜り、古い石段を登ると曽波神社があり、更に奥に進むと途中に祠がある。
更に奥に進むと愛宕神社がある。

曽波神社の由緒
創祀年月知るに由なけれども上代より石巻の北西6キロ、北上川の西岸曽波神山上に御鎮座あり曽波明神と称す。延喜の制当郡十座の小社に班す。（延喜式）明治7年4月村社に列す。同42年12月曽波山の愛宕・雷神の雷神・上中埣の高玉の諸神社を合祀する。
The torii gate was renewed and I was curious, so I visited it.
If you go down the torii gate and climb the old stone steps, you will find Sowa Shrine, and if you go further back, you will find a shrine on the way.
Going further back, you will find Atago Shrine.

History of Sonami Shrine
Although it is difficult to know the date of its founding, it is called Sonami Myojin, which has a palace on the west bank of the Kitakami River, 6 km northwest of Ishinomaki. Grouped in a small shrine in Toza, Engi's control county. (Engi ceremony) April 1897 Listed at the village shrine. In December 1942, the shrines of Atago of Mt. Sonami, Raijin of Raijin, and Takatama of Kaminakazone are enshrined.
