 The atmosphere around the station is completely different at each Ashiya station, Hankyu, JR, and Hanshin.

大阪・上本町の 乃が美 の生食パンが朝夕一回ずつ販売されます。（朝売り切れたら午後５時迄シャッターが降りています。）
夕方電車が着くと混みます。
芦屋マダムもお気に入りの様です。
ショッピングモールにはモンテメールが在ります。
The station where the special rapid train stops. In front of the ticket gate
Nogami's raw bread from Uehonmachi, Osaka will be sold once in the morning and evening. (If it sells out in the morning, the shutter will be down until 5 pm.)
It gets crowded when the train arrives in the evening.
Ashiya Madam is also my favorite.
There is Montemer in the shopping mall.

先行車両(快速?)の遅れで、芦屋駅での新快速→普通の乗り継ぎが出来ずに15min以上待たせるJR…残念且つ困りました。
The station building is being renovated and there is no toilet in the platform.

Due to the delay of the preceding vehicle (rapid?), The new rapid train at Ashiya station → JR that made me wait for more than 15 minutes without being able to make a normal transfer ... Unfortunately, I was in trouble.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 快速も新快速も停まってくれるので神戸方面にも大阪方面にも早く行けます。
終電が早くなってしまったのが残念ですね。
Both the rapid and special rapid services stop, so you can go to both Kobe and Osaka quickly.
It's a pity that the last train has come earlier.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 新快速も停まる便利な駅です。駅構内は、2022年春まで、エスカレーター設置やお手洗いなどの改良工事が行われています。お手洗いはあまりキレイではなかったので、新しく清潔になるのは、嬉しいです。
2020年に駅ビル「モンテメール」が改装され、さらに便利に。大きな無印良品やスターバックス、成城石井、電気店や輸入食材店などが新しくテナントに入りました。
駅近くにある飲食店はバリエーション豊か。ミシュラン星付き和食やビブグルマンのイタリアンからうどんの老舗、焼肉、お好み焼き、そしてオーセンティックなバーから町の居酒屋やチェーン店まで、たくさんの種類があり、困りません。
It is a convenient station where the Special Rapid Service also stops. Until the spring of 2022, the station premises are undergoing improvement work such as installing escalators and restrooms. The restroom wasn't very clean, so I'm happy that it's new and clean.
The station building "Montemer" was renovated in 2020, making it even more convenient. Large MUJI, Starbucks, Seijo Ishii, electronics stores and imported food stores have joined the tenants.
There are many variations of restaurants near the station. There are many types, from Michelin-starred Japanese food and Bib Gourmand Italian to long-established udon noodles, yakiniku, okonomiyaki, and authentic bars to izakaya and chain stores in the town.
