On a whim, my husband and I visited this beautiful little Australian restaurant tucked away on a quaint side-street of Shibuya. We were pleasantly surprised by the romantic ambiance, with low lights, candle-lit tables, and formally trained staff. The unique menu selection included kangaroo, alligator and ostrich. With our five-course meal, I ordered the kangaroo and my husband ordered the Aussie beef. Both dishes were absolutely mouth watering, but I was most impressed with the kangaroo, having never tried it before. It was well-seasoned and cooked perfectly. The appetizer was a beautifully layered vegetable salmon parfait, with savory, fun textures in every bite. We both mentioned how amazing the food was at least a dozen times throughout the meal. Each dish was beautifully prepared by the chef, thoughtfully presented by our waiter and truly delicious. In addition to the impressive food, the service was impeccable and the wait staff graciously spoke English when they realized we spoke limited Japanese. My only regret is not trying the alligator--but there's always next time!

I did not expect such a high end dining experience here. The exterior hints at a small but fashionable cafe-like interior but this is a legitimate fancy restaurant with none of the haughtiness. It was lunchtime on a holiday so they only had the brunch course available but at 2800yen it was totally worth it. Starter was edamame hummus made in-house, followed by a veggie parfait, and an entree and dessert of your choice. I chose the kangaroo steak (because how many opportunities do you get to eat kangaroo meat?) and it definitely exceeded expectations. Lean yet flavorful and surprisingly tender. Will most definitely come again

Australian cousine with a wide range of wines (even by the glass) and superb hospitality. Recommend the lamb rack and dip assortments (grilled eggplant and vegimite dip was a pleasant surprise!)

Great Australian restaurant with local special food such as Kangaroo, Crocodile and Ostrich. Good selection of wines, good staffs, good service. Price is little expensive, but the quality of the food exceeds the price!

Great Australian restaurant with great service as the head waiter was attentive and authentic in his understanding of the wines and in facilitating a great dinner experience. Tried uncommon meats (ostrich carpaccio, croc fritters, kangaroo steak) and they might a tad pricey for how it tastes. Worth a try nonetheless.
