★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 通勤客の便を図り南側にも改札があるけど乗車券は売っていない。地下道にはでっかく「頭上注意」と書かれている。高砂市民病院の最寄り駅でもある。

その為か駅周辺の飲食店も土日休業の店が多い。

通勤時間帯はホームに溢れそうなくらい人がいて危ないです。
屋根も途中までしかなく雨や真夏の直射日光は辛いです。
自動改札が有りますが3台のうち1台がicカード専用。その為、改札も混んでます。
