地元の学生が作ってくれてるあと何メートルの標識で頑張れる(⌒‐⌒)
 There is no view at the top of the mountain. The parking lot and toilet are clean even if there is only a little on the way up
I can do my best with a sign of how many meters after the local student made it (⌒-⌒)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hike to the top of Mt. Aono (Aonoyama) takes a little over an hour. The views are absolutely beautiful and on a clear day you can even see the ocean. There's a small shrine at the peak and a few benches along the way to rest. I've seen families climbing together multiple times, but sections can get pretty steep, so make sure to wear good footwear. There's a separate trail that leads down a different way, but if you're parked at the Aonoyama Trail Parking Lot, make sure to go up and down the same way. I didn't see any wildlife, but locals told me to bring a bell just in case I came across wild boar or monkeys.
It's difficult to get to the trail-head without a car, so I don't recommend to those who are just spending a day or two in Tsuwano. (Check out the Chugoku Nature Trail that goes through the Tsuwano Castle Ruins as a good alternative)
I'll definitely be hiking here again.
